Today was a lazy day.
Didn't get much sleep, but I woke up early, hung out all day, and just relaxed.
I guess I might as well enjoy it, since I will start school again soon.

OH, and how AWESOME was the rain today?! WOOT!!

I made some wonderfully delicious chocolate chip chunk Tollhouse cookies today. It was really nice to make and photograph along the way. I will get the photos posted as soon I get them uploaded. I am so incredibly thankful for these few weeks of summer!! :D

I love watching him dance. He enjoys it so very much! Greg and I won the competition at the Belly Up on Sunday and he auditioned for an event today, which he will now be attending. It's wonderful that we're able to do a lot with a small budget. We need to do a bit better with out-of-town events, but otherwise, we do a good job to pay with our service rather than our lacking funds. I can't wait to have a job and spending money again. *sigh*

I'm excited about dinner tonight.
We're having steak for dinner, no thanks to me.
I was sent to the store to buy meat, rice, and broccoli.
I bought $20 of steak on accident and a huge bag of rice.
I thought I was only buying $7 of steak (four NY strips).
*sigh* Dad went back and exchanged it for two strips at $10.
So dinner is still on, I'm excited, but I still have much to learn...

My stomach pretty much hates me all of the time now.
I'd say that I'm getting used to it but I'm still pretty dang annoyed.

On a new note, I need to get back on a normal sleep pattern.
I've been staying up until 3am and waking up around 10 or 11.
This must stop... and soon.
Maybe tonight?

I applied for a few more jobs today. Not many since I have trouble trusting these random online sites and Monster offers a very limited selection. I'll venture back onto Craigslist soon.

I'm becoming more and more amused by the reoccurring vampire/human love theme in stories like Twilight and Buffy (which I have been watching as of late). Watching Buffy and Angel is almost exactly like Edward and Bella. I guess it's true that everyone shares ideas with one another, even if the idea has already been used.

I tried the Açaí bowl for the very first time today. I'm hooked. I want more of it. I must figure out what kind of granola they used and then figure out how to make it for myself. I couldn't believe how delicious it was. If only I had the money to afford amazing food like that!!

Açaí is a Brazilian berry which is considered to be one of nature's most complete and healthy organic foods. Greg and I went on a self-proclaimed date night tonight.
It was great.
First, Denny's, then two different thrift stores, Costco, and Michael's. We finished the night with a stop by Hollywood Video and a viewing of Final Destination 3. It was a great night...

The drive home... Not so great.
Not great at all.

Too scared of the bad things that COULD happen! Gah!

I love spending time with God and refocusing my life. I intend to apply for some jobs online for a school tomorrow. Then I hope to clean my room. I just want to bring some order back into my life. I will do that in whatever way is necessary. And I hope I'm wrong, but I think I may have conjunctivitis... again. *sigh* I am tired of being sick.

The best part of a dance performance is when you take your bow, knowing that you've done your best! Greg and I just spent an hour or so watching old swing videos, of him in SwingFX, us in the Viejas competition, and of others performing at Camp Hollywood. We're at his grandparents, resting for a bit as we wait for his film to develop (we had to make a trip up to Burbank in order to get it done). After this, we will eat and HOPEFULLY nap!!

I love that company.
I really wish I could work there.
It's too bad they're not hiring right now.
I spent this morning with my grandma.
Left my computer with the Apple Store to get fixed
(estimated 3-7 days to be fixed).
Chatted with Tommy Styles a bit.
Went home to relax.
Received the call to pick up my computer.
Dinner with the parentals.
To Greg's to hang out.

Went on a walk and practiced lifts.

i need to reinvent my entire life

A walk-in closet for a bathroom.
A music studio for a guest room.
A bed with built-in storage.

I want to be able to make choices about the place that I live. Before I can do that, I need to find a job. If you hear about job openings, let me know. I am frustrated and I just want this to be settled already. Until then, I can continue to dream about the place I one day hope to own... or rent. Heh.
