I loved it on Broadway. It was one of the best shows on Broadway... AND I got to see it with the original two, Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick!! It was exciting and hilarious and couldn't get enough. Now, the movie is coming out and I am nearly holding my breath waiting to see it.

With Rent coming to theatres less than a month ago, I feel spoiled with this sudden love for musical theatre in the movies! I am so glad that I have had the chance to see so many of these Broadway stories come to life on the screen. Chicago and the Phantom were, of course, different from the stage performances, but exciting none-the-less. I intend on purchasing each of these for my own collection of Broadway shows. Chicago, down. Many more to go!

I am thinking about buying myself an AIDS Bracelet for Christmas to support the cause. I've been wanting to get one for a while now. Jeanele has one and it would be within my budget to get the $25 bracelet. As long as the quality of that bracelet is good, then that is what I'm going to get. No matter how small an effort, it would still make a difference!

I saw The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe today and it was great! My dad and I went to see it on our day together. The kids in the movie were great and the CGI was perfect. Afterwards, we ate at California Pizza Kitchen, and I had my favorite, Spinach and Artichoke Dip with a BBQ Chicken Pizza and a Diet Coke. Mmm... We stopped by the Apple store and headed home. Since then, I did nothing but play online and watch tv, so I found a cute Disney site. At this Disney Fairies webpage, I figured out that I am most like Tinker Bell. She was the coolest thing to see at Disneyland... Tink flying past the castle in front of the fireworks.

I saw the Junior Theatre production of A Charlie Brown Christmas today and it was great! I definitely recommend the show to anyone who loves the old comics or just wants to bring their kids to a fun show. Alright, I have plenty of studying left to do and a reflection paper to write, so have a nice night.

good 'n' evil

Wow. This is a first for me in college (and maybe ever)... I pulled an "all-nighter" for school! I got screwed over by one of my group members for this Theatre presentation that was due today. He didn't get any of his information to me quickly at all. When he finally did send it, everything had grammatical and spelling errors galor!!

So I had to proof read everything that he did, request he write more, and then request that he shorten what he had. He refused to rewrite anything and insisted on going to sleep at 2am, without sending me the write-up for one of his activities OR a working cite to list or USE to find the damn information. So, I was up until 5:30am JUST working on this one project! I found everything eventually and by the time I finally finished everything, it wasn't worth the sleep just to risk sleeping in. So, I stayed up and finished homework for other classes.

One cool thing was that I found out that there are good Nicktoons from 6am-8am in the morning. LoL. I know that it sounds dorky, but I was really excited to see Jimmy Neutron, The X-es (a new show), and Spongebob after such a stressful night. I LOVED the new show mostly because the voices are a LOT of comedians that are frickin hilarious!! It's just really neat to be able to get even more elements out of a simple cartoon.

So, to sum things up: I got no sleep, I hate Jeff, cartoons are cool, and I am glad that I am done with the project. Oh, and many thanks to Dave for listening to all of the bitching. It helped, if that's any concellation. I'm going to finish my homework for the week and watch some TV before going to listen to Kim DiVencienzo play at the Aztec Center Starbucks at 4:30pm. See y'all there.

A couple of things to remember:

cancelled classes

It's always exciting to have less classes in any day... However, it sucks to work your ass off finishing an assignment that ends up being postponed! I'm glad that I at least got that work done because I have another write-up for that class that I will have to turn in with today's assignment when I go into class on Thursday.

Tonight is Gilmore Girls and Supernatural with Terry and I hope that I can get the play write-up done as well. Tomorrow I get to see a free showing of "Just Friends," with the beautiful Ryan Reynolds and Thursday, I am going to see the SDSU musical, "A Man of No Importance."

This week is definitely a nice breather after last week's Hell on Earth!! On Friday, I am going to Meeshi's Birthday Party, where there will be swing dancing, games (including Twister), and other fun things like that. I am really excited and looking for people want to go. So, I'm on the look-out!

I am very glad that I got through the past few days as well as I did. I definitely could have gone a LOT better, but I got everything done and that's what matters. I am now working on my math homework, then studying non-stop for my midterm tomorrow. I haven't had the chance to study yet, so it's long overdue.

I really just want to take a long shower and curl up with the magazine that I bought today and just listen to the Cranberries until I fall asleep. If only...

Jim and Edna were both patients in a mental hospital.

One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank to the bottom of the pool and stayed there. Edna promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.

When the director of Nursing became aware of Edna's heroic act, she considered her to be mentally stable.

When she went to tell Edna the news she said, "Edna, I have good news and bad news. The good news is you're being discharged. Since you were able to rationally respond to a crisis by jumping in and saving the life of another patient, I have concluded that your act displays sound mindedness. The bad news is that Jim, the patient you saved, hanged himself in his bathroom with the belt to his robe right after you saved him. I am sorry, but he's dead."

Edna replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry. How soon can I go home?"
