I got the last link for my graduation taken care of, so I no longer have to worry about graduation. Yay! It turns out that my "mistake" was for the better because of the different course materials taught in my basic science class. With that said, although I have to wait to hear whether or not I make it into the credential program, I guess I should go out to take my graduation photos. Why not? I don't have any fun portraits yet. Maybe some now and some in May when I have my gown and actually get to walk. We'll see.

As for now, I'm just relieved that my load is SO much lighter!! I still have to prove my social security and get my medical records to the Education department, but those are minor things. Who knows?! I might even get into the accelerated credential program, which means I finish by the end of summer! That would be amazing!!

I didn't get to listen to my sister play last night because she didn't get a time slot, so I hope she gets one tonight. Candace and I are going to listen to her play then head down to Henry's for dancing. It should be a good time!

I have been relatively productive today. I got a lot done, but not yet the ONE thing I NEED to get done tonight. I need to finish my personal narrative and get it printed along with the form for the application. I have finished my science (for thursday), finished quite a bit of my math homework (for thursday), and I made time for a shower.

Tomorrow, I will be heading down to State (sometime before 2, since my Sped class is cancelled) and talking to Phoebe at the Liberal Studies office in order to get my science class cleared for graduation. Hopefully that pans out so I can go to the registrar, pay the application fee, go to the Education department, and turn in the application. I'm ready for this to be over. Once it's all done, maybe the mutation on my neck will disappear. :(

On the bright side, I plan to work hard right now and get my paper done (or as much as possible), so I can go watch my sister perform at Lestat's Open Mic tonight. I have yet to see it, so I need to take advantage of the Swing Huddle cancellation. I am really looking forward to it. I love listening to Dana sing! :)

Went back to the salon yesterday and got my hair dyed for the third time. It's much darker than I wanted it to be but the color now reaches to the roots, which was the problem after the first session. I'm excited about Halloween and dressing up this year... That's a first! Ha. My mom will be helping me with the costume and I couldn't be more stoked.

I wonder what she will say about my hair. :)

I have quite a lot of work to get done in a pretty short amount of time. I need to prioritize and figure out the order to get things done, because of the rush. If I can get most of my math homework (due thursday) done during this break, then I can be pretty satisfied. If I really can't figure it out or bring myself to concentrate on that, then I will just study my map.

Tonight I need to do my history reading and a write-up on some of that reading. Then I need to do my science write-up. Once all of that is finished, I will be studying my map and science information for the rest of the night! Why? Because I have TWO quizzes tomorrow.

Hopefully, I will then be able to go out tomorrow night, because I will already have my math homework done (or almost done). We will just have to see, I suppose.

More to-do's: Interviews for my sped class, application for reentry to State, and my personal narrative for my credential program application.

Two and half years after that, my sister was born.
About four years later, my dad was laid off.
He stayed home while my mom worked.
Years later, both children in college.
And they are both happy and together.
I want the strength in my future marriage as I see in theirs.
The stability in their relationship helped my growth.

Candace and I went out dancing last night and Greg and I went out dancing tonight. My knee is killing me, but it was really great to be back in the social scene. I was starting to feel on the outside. Camp killed my spirit this summer... Again.

So this is to all the lovely people who have made this week what it is... no matter how tiring it has been! LoL. I hardly have anything left in me. I napped all afternoon and I'm still dead. C'est la vie.

So Greg and I have been together for three month, but I can't shake the feeling that I've always known him. Whether I knew what he looked like or how his voice sounded, deep down he is that amazing man I dreamt about. His strength is encouraging and he makes me want to be a greater woman of God. Believe me, he's seen me at a few of my worst (I know... ALREADY?! But hey, we DO spend a lot of time together!).

This week is very different than most. Instead of running around trying to keep up with everything that Greg normally does, I find myself locked up in my room with tv shows and movies going, as I struggle to get some homework done. I had a lot of plans for this week and they change every other second. Yet again, I find that I won't be going to ANOTHER sorority event. But I'll be there Friday no matter what!

I think it's an okay thing. I'm not very good at being flexible, so this is quite a lot of practice and very fast. So tonight I'm going to Henry's and tomorrow to Tio Leo's and thursday to Firehouse-by-the-Bay and friday to ADX for Pref Dinner. I've rested enough. I need to get some work done. Peace.

As I spend the day running back and forth to church for service, a meeting, and my own worship, I am actually excited for the day and week ahead. I feel out of touch with myself, with the world, and with God. I have the house to myself today, I got a car wash earlier, and now I'm washing some clothes. I should probably get some homework done today, but I have what I need done for tomorrow out of the way already, so I might just leave the rest for tomorrow.

I plan to get caught up on my school work after my only class tomorrow and then I will be going bowling with the sorority. I also intend to join them this wednesday and friday, since I don't know if I'll have the time to go to much later on in the semester. I'm glad that I get to see my sorority family and catch up more than I've had the chance thus far. Hopefully some of the alumni will be at some events as well.

This tuesday is three months with Greg and instead of spending the day with him, we are doing the opposite. It's a "me" week, or "me & God" week, so we will go to church together tonight and then dancing on thursday, but other than that, I may not spend anymore time with him until church next Sunday. I'm excited about it. I think it will be good for us.

With that said, I really would like to go to Henry's Pub this tuesday, so if anyone (21+) is interested, please let me know and we can carpool! It's a great venue with a live band and swing dancing. It's at a pub, so if that's your thing, I'll be happy to drive. You don't have to feel obligated to dance, just know that I will be! LoL. Text me about it. :)

So I'm going to watch some Elektra and then switch out my laundry. Have an amazing Sunday. God bless.

I want a white peach so badly right now, I cannot even express it to you. It's more than a craving... So after writing this, I intend to get up and go to Vons to buy several. I don't want to be in this bind again... not any time soon at least.

I have a slight migraine right now because I forgot to have caffeine when I woke up. It's killing me right now, but I'm hoping it passes quickly. I also just remembered that I'm supposed to have lunch with my mom today. I don't know if she remembers at all. Maybe I'll give her a call soon as well.
